Sophia: I think Megamind’s character’s more or less like Dr. You can take a lot of time examining the types of nuances and different ethics shown in the movie and how the characters’ choices represent our own world without superpowers, aliens, and fantasy. Because, I mean you have Metro Man literally just abandoning everything because he wants to be his own person, which on one side is good because he finds out what he wants to do, but then, on the other hand, he’s literally abandoning an entire city of people who look up to him. I think Megamind is probably more stereotypically moral and nice, especially towards the end of the movie. And even though both of these two characters are raised in different ways, you see that both of them are still good-hearted in nature, in their own ways. And then you see how Metro Man is raised to be good and raised with morals because he has a different, loving family he's raised in a more stable environment. Even though he tries to be good, sometimes, it doesn't end up well, because everyone sees him as a social recluse and ostracizes him. Megamind was raised as a “bad guy” and they have an entire five minutes of him in jail being raised as the bad guy. I mean, what you were saying, Sebastian: labels. Sophia: Then this also brings in the question, nature versus nurture.
